“More Than Likely [Hov Will Be On The Album]…We’ll See”
Not too sure if this should be titled an interview, more like Gage yelling questions at J.Cole and then answering them himself. J.Cole does revel interesting details about his up and coming work in this “interview” which was shot 4 months prior. Odds are, Cole will not be dropping another mixtape as many of his fans hoped for and that “more than likely” Hov will be featured on his up and coming album…”we’ll see“.

“You can’t learn confidence, but I see how much it helps. When we first started I was really unsure of myself. I was all over the stage, trying to please everybody in the crowd. Then I see Jay and he’ll rap an entire verse from one spot if he wants. It’s like he has an invisible box up there. So the importance of confidence is probably the biggest thing I’ve learned from him, but also that you gotta have some hits to get there in the first place.”
“[I'm] Roughly 75% Done With My Solo Project”

“But I’m the type of person where, A., I look at things as challenges, I like challenges and, B., I truly believe that you determine your own destiny.”

“There’s a lot of soul in the album. There’s even some West Coast. How can I describe it? I think of the guitar on the Red Hot Chilli Pepper’s “Californication,” like guitar sprinkled in. That’s one of my favorite parts, just listening to the songs so far. That wasn’t my vision, but it just kind of happened.
